The Artisan:
Len Cockman, a local artisan who taught pottery making for many years, has “sort of” retired, but still finds time to make hand thrown honey pots for Ceres & Co. No two alike! Len redisigned the lids for me with a smaller opening for the honey dipper after I pointed out that the bigger the hole, the more bugs might get inside the pot. So the hole is just large enough to accommodate the shaft of the honey dipper.
He works hard on colors I request, because you don’t always get the color you are expecting during the firing process. I especially like the blue ones – and the apricot ones – and the gray ones – and . . . You get the picture. And take a look at our pictures. They are ALL beautiful.
See pictures for color choices. We provided pictures to get an idea of colors, but no two pots look alike. If you want to see pictures of current pots in stock, please use the form below for more information. A great place to keep your Heather Valley Honey! Click here to look at honey choices.
