The scent of this essential oil is earthy, smoky, spicy and musky. The light is more floral, the dark is reminiscent of those patchouli incense sticks from long ago days of your youth, and the reserve is aged. Patchouli can be aged up to twenty years. Used for improving cellular tissue, it is especially good on mature skin. It may be used directly on the skin, but try a small patch first. It may also be combined with fractionated coconut oil.
“One of my customers buys her patchouli and puts it away for five years before using. Now she can buy it already aged!” - Susan Siemers, Owner and Founder Ceres & Co.
