Imported from France and sometimes referred to as Lavender Grosso– this has a very strong, almost medicinal scent. It is less floral than other lavenders. When inhaled, it will ease depression. An herbalist/aromatherapist Jeanne Rose goes so far as to say it helps “those suffering deep anguish.â€
“All lavenders are anti-depressants, but this one gets high marks. It is the least expensive of our four lavenders. This one seems to fall into the “love it or hate it†category. If you are placing an order, ask for a sample of this one, and I'll include a bagged cotton ball with Lavandin on it so that you can make an informed choice on your next order.†- Susan Siemers, Owner and Founder, Ceres & Co.
